    Yes. All three versions use the exact same Sense-U sensor, so there is no difference in the accuracy or algorithms used for movement, sleep position, or feeling temperature monitoring. The main differences are the included accessories, connection method, monitoring range, and additional features.

    What’s the main difference between the Bluetooth Version and the Base Station Version?

    The biggest differences are monitoring range and additional features.

    The Bluetooth Version connects the sensor directly to your phone and works best within about 15 m / 50 ft in an open area, making it ideal for same-room monitoring.

    The Base Station Version connects the sensor to the Base Station via Bluetooth, while the Base Station connects to Wi-Fi. This allows you to check your baby remotely as long as you have internet access. It also adds room temperature and humidity monitoring, local light and sound alerts from the Base Station, family sharing, and a more reliable setup for remote monitoring.

    Does the Base Station need to stay in the same room as my baby?

    Yes, we recommend keeping the Base Station in the same room as the Sense-U sensor, ideally within about 15 m / 50 ft. The sensor communicates with the Base Station via Bluetooth, while the Base Station connects to your home Wi-Fi for remote access.

    How far does the Bluetooth Version work? Can it work through walls?

    The Bluetooth range is up to approximately 15 m / 50 ft in an open area. Walls, furniture, and other obstacles can reduce the actual range, so we recommend using the Bluetooth Version in the same room. If you need to monitor from another room or through multiple walls, the Base Station Version is the better choice.

    I only plan to use it at night while my baby is sleeping nearby. Which version should I choose?

    If your baby sleeps in the same room and you don’t need remote monitoring while you’re away from home, the Bluetooth Version should be enough for your core monitoring needs. It’s also the simplest and most portable option.

    I want to check on my baby while I’m at work or away from home. Which version is best?

    We recommend the Base Station Version. With the Base Station connected to Wi-Fi, you can check your baby’s status remotely from your phone wherever you have internet access. You also get additional alerts, room temperature and humidity monitoring, and a more convenient setup for everyday remote monitoring.

    I want to see both my baby’s movement data and live video. Which one should I choose?

    The Complete Bundle is the best choice. It combines the Sense-U Pro sensor for breathing movement, sleep position, and temperature monitoring with a Wi-Fi camera for live video, giving you both sensor data and visual monitoring in one system. The camera can also be used independently later if needed.

    Does the camera need to stay plugged in? Does it have a battery?

    The PTZ camera needs to be plugged into a power source during use and does not have a built-in rechargeable battery. The Sense-U Pro sensor is rechargeable and can typically be used for about 7 days on a full charge.

    Can the camera included in the Bundle be used on its own?

    Yes. The PTZ camera can connect directly to Wi-Fi and be used independently, even without the Sense-U Pro sensor. You can still use its video monitoring features, including HD video, night vision, cry detection, and two-way talk.
